I just went to see Donna for the 11:00 a.m. visit. The respirator is out, and she is trying to talk lots. Donna's first question to me was is it lunch time? She said she has not eaten in a looong time! She made me look down the hallway to see if lunch was on its way. Louie said he would bring her a milkshake later after she ate a real lunch. Her board of information says that she is on a regular diet. She told me how much pain she was in last night and she was happy that she was feeling much better. She then told Louie and I that she was tired, and wanted to rest. There are still no results from any of the test. The heart doctor did say that her kidney's are looking better, but we are waiting on a kidney specialist.

Great to hear Donna is starting to feel better after surgery. She'll be back eating restaurant food in no time!

I want to say "Thank You" again to Donna's wonderful family for taking the time to update those of us who care. She is so far away, we can't visit, and this would be much more difficult without regular updates. I look forward to hearing that Donna is "cruisin" again. She is in my prayers everyday. Good to hear the "superstar patient" is doing better!! Donna you are doing great, keep at it! You are in our thoughts and prayers daily. I finally figured out how to send a message. We took Bowie over to play with Abby at suppertime they ran around like crazy dogs!! We love you Donna, McKenzie, Allie Jack and Sam send Hugs and Kisses!!
